The Three Shooting Stars is such a lovely place, I really enjoyed the hammock in the garden, Maikel and Vivian were super helpful and their pets are adorable, also the minibar is well equipped (decent prices).

A huge recommendation

Maikel and Vivian were lovely hosts and they gave us plethora of good advice of what to do and how to travel in different key attractions. The room was also in a very good location! It was clean and cosy in a delightfully personal way. Yard was very nice as well and beatifully lightened in the dark. All in all a perfect location for us to stay and enjoy. A huge recommendation!

A little tropical paradise!

Cozy bungalow-style rooms with a private porch and tropical "huts" to hang out in the evening. The kind and helpful owners arranged us tours for great prices too. Convenient minibar & fridge and the kitchenette for e.g. fruits. Friendly but well behaved home animals made us a great company. The beach as well as the shops and restaurants are all within walking distance, and it is safe and calm in the night. We would definitely come back again.

Can't really complain about anything. Keep it up!

Good experience

The hosts were super friendly and helped us a lot with advice, the laundry, scooter rental, ... The room has some space to store clothes and a little kitchen included. Snacks and drinks are also available there. AC was working and the room was dark enough to sleep well.

The bathroom has no sink and the shower is next to the toilet. The sink right outside tht bathroom has to be used.

It is an absolutely lovely place to stay with great hosts.

The property was lovely, as well as the owners. it is close to the center, on a side street, therefore far from all the noise. It has AC, fan, great internet - I had to work throughout my staying there and had quite a few video calls without any issue. I also enjoyed the little kitchen part of our room, but they also have a little kitchen outside so you don’t fill your room with the smell from cooking. the hosts are extremely nice and helpful with a lot of tips and things to do. I think they undercharge for the location. Vivian and Maikel also have two very sweet dogs and a cat. If you are coming from the Netherlands bring some stroopwafels to Maikel. You will make a great man very happy.

Great host, great room, great location

Only few minutes walk to Alona beach. The apartment is located in an alley, very quiet and convenient. Room is clean and air conditioned. You can simply cook in your room or kitchen in their beautiful garden. The host Maikel recommended us an agency where we booked tour and ferry with good price. Very helpful!

Lovely sized apartment, fridge, double bed, small kitchen area and large fan. Down a small alley away from a busy road, the owner couldn't of been any helpful. Beautiful outdoor kitchen area with hammocks.

This property and its hosts is absolutely fantastic, completely faultless. The most comfortable bed I’ve had in months, a fully functional kitchen with all appliances and a big fridge, a large bathroom, and super fast wi-fi were all very much appreciated, and at fantastic value for money. Only a few minutes from the beach and everything you need. Plus lovely dogs! Thanks for helping us with the best spots to see in Bohol and arranging a transfer to the port!

Superb

Great hosts, very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The beach and the main road (with transport going everywhere one needs to go) are nearby. They have two cute dogs and a cat, I loved them, but please keep that in mind in case you are allergic.

Perfect, felt like home

Its all you need for exploring the island with base near Alona beach. Maikel and Vivian are very friendly and will help you with everything you need. The room was clean and it had all the amenities. Location is great just a few minutes walk to Alona beach. We felt very safe and Maikel helped us with organising the perfect trip. We fell in love with their dogs and cat. Highly recommended!

Another great visit.

The owners, Maikel and Vivian, are what makes this place so special. They are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to help make your stay perfect. One example would be when we wanted to hire a scooter. Maikel went with us to the shop next door, which had no scooters left. Rather than just point us in the direction of where to go next, he walked down the street with us, haggled at another shop to get a good price, and stuck around to check over the bike and make sure that we were happy with it. Apart from friendly owners, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. I thought the bed was especially comfortable. The location is a short walk (5 minutes or less) from Alona beach. This is our second time staying there and we would definitely come again if in Bohol.

perfect place for a short or long stay

it has all you need for your stay and also for living long term. Maikel and Vivian and really helpful and kind. The apartment has a kitchen full equiped, fan and AC.They have also board games, candles, sockets everywhere... you will be more than comfortable there. Everything is clean. I strongly recommend this place They have two dogs and a cat, and some other animals really well educated.

Comfy and value homestay with awsome hosts

Mike and Vivian are awesome hosts. Mike gives you valuable tips and helps you get things done (they even did our laundry!!). He always has a funny story to tell :) The room itself is small, but has everything which is neccessary to feel home: plenty place to store your belongings, hairdryer, hot shower, and all the small details such as having a separate handtowel, a fully equipped kitchen (including washing liquid, sponge and cleaning cloth). Cleaniness is top. We stayed 5 nights and they offered to clean the room after 3 nights, changing the bedsheets, towels and making the room flawless again. :) Location is super convenient, far enough from the noisy main road, but close enough to everything (5 min to top restaurants, 10 min to the closest and really nice Alona beach). Did I mention that you can refill your water bottle? Huge plus. We would stay here again.
